Advent Dinner Church

Continuing a beloved new tradition at Messiah, this Advent, we are gathering in the middle of each week to share a meal together. This meal, however, is about so much more!

Advent Dinner Church is simple: we share a meal, and the meal istelf is the worship. Together we’ll pray, hear scripture, reflect, talk, laugh, and break bread—including celebrating Holy Communion, just as the early church did.

In a season of waiting, we make room for presence. Around the table, we slow down, listen, and look for Christ in one another, in conversation, in silence, and in the ordinary grace of food shared.

Come hungry. Come as you are. Come to the table.
