Pastor Trent was ordained and installed as the pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church in 2025. A graduate of the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, he brings a deep love for liturgy, sacramental theology, and the Lutheran tradition—alongside a passion for storytelling, community, and helping others discover God’s presence in their own lives.
With an ecumenical background, Pastor Trent draws from a variety of Christian traditions and spiritual practices. He brings to his ministry a heart for helping people find an expression of faith that feels authentic, rooted, and life-giving.
Outside of church life, he enjoys gardening, hiking, cooking, practicing yoga, and spending time with his two beagles, Hildegard and Beauregard.
